DELIVERIES
Most orders submitted by midday will be delivered by 4pm next working day. Some orders may take a little longer to process but we always aim to deliver goods within five working days. Delivery charges are calculated automatically on checkout.
DAYTIME COLLECTION INSTRUCTIONS:
If you have booked a daytime collection, simply come along during your chosen time slot and we will be happy to assist. Our postcode is TN12 7DE.
COLLECTION LOCKER INSTRUCTIONS (EVENING / WEEKEND BOOKINGS ONLY):
If you have booked an evening / weekend collection, you will find collection lockers located to the left hand side of the warehouse by the brown wooden gate. Look out for the red brick car park and yellow warehouse doors. Our postcode is TN12 7DE.
Please find your locker number and enter your 4 digit access code into the lock and slide the bar open. You can find your locker number and 4 digit access code in the order confirmation email. It is a good idea to make a note of this before leaving home, in case you cannot load the email on arrival.
Once you have finished unloading your locker, please close the door and slide the lock bar across so that it stays dry for the next customer.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to, and the use of this website, including without limitation any warranties implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill.
We recommend that all purchases are tested prior to bulk use. All descriptions and specifications given in any written or visual form or verbally are for general guidance only and no guarantee is implied. Information displayed on this website or in other printed matter published by Clay Cellar is not regarded to be authoritative or certified best practice and is given only as useful supplementary advice.

DELIVERIES
Delivery dates are given in good faith and every effort will be made to adhere to them. Clay Cellar will not be liable for any loss caused by delays. A guide to carriage charges is given in the price list for deliveries to customers’ premises and is subject to increases. Moving into position from the roadside is the responsibility of the customer, though if our driver should volunteer assistance we will not be liable for any consequent loss or damage. Please notify us immediately on 01892 722011 of any shortage or damage, which must be notified within 14 days. If a Clay Cellar error necessitates a return of goods, they will be replaced free of charge or refunded. We cannot refund items that have been custom ordered, items that have been used or are not in resaleable condition. We must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the goods of any intention to return an item. Goods will only be exchanged or replaced at our discretion, and unless faulty no delivery costs will be refunded.
Whilst every care is taken in the packaging of goods, liquids that are sent by post or carrier are transported at the customer’s own risk.
For larger orders that require delivery on a pallet, delivery is kerbside only. It is important that the customer also consider large vehicle access. The Clay Cellar must be advised if there are any vehicle restrictions / access restrictions at the point of delivery. A standard delivery vehicle is either: an 18 tonne rigid curtain-sider (11m length, 2.55m width, 4m height) or a 44 tonne articulated vehicle (16.5m length, 2.55m width, 4m height). Smaller vehicles are available on request. Failure to notify the Clay Cellar of vehicle size restrictions either at the property, or on roads leading to the property, may result in a re-delivery charge (determined by the lorry company).
If a pallet delivery date has been arranged but there is no one available to receive the pallet on the day of delivery, a redelivery charge of £25+vat will apply. This charge is set by the haulier and is subject to change.
The purchaser should test prior to bulk use. No liability will be accepted for injury, loss, damage or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with any materials, products or services supplied. The Buyer shall indemnify the Seller against any claim in respect of the goods by any third party.

Our prices are ex works and are intended as a guide only. Invoicing will be at the price current when delivery is made and delivery and Value Added Tax are extra at the prevailing rate. Prices apply to UK only. For delivery charges to other areas, please email
PRIVACY POLICY
The Clay Cellar will collect and store personal data that you may volunteer during use of our services for example when placing an order or using our networking community. This may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses. This information will not be shared with third parties. The networking community is intended to enable members to promote themselves and their art or services, to educate and support anyone with queries or problems in relation to their use of clay and glaze.
